The Nite Moves Band has been entertaining audiences for nearly 30 years. Based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, we are a 4 piece classic rock band. The members are Glenn Dean on vocals, Don Daugherty on bass, Kim Bean on drums and Randy Combs on guitar. Both Glenn and Don are in the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. GLENN DEAN - LEAD VOCALS : As frontman for the band, Glenn gives 110% every performance. An original founding member of Nite Moves, Glenn has a superb vocal style that combines early Rock and Roll and Soul. Glenn is a member of the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 1961 Glenn and Don formed The Legends and were twice Chuck Berry's back up band. They opened for The Animals on two occasions, twice with Jerry Lee Lewis and many other greats of the day.
DON DAUGHERTY - BASS & VOCALS : The bassist and leader of the band. Don is the glue that holds things together. He has a smooth and clean style of bass playing. Don also is a member of the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Not only a founding member of Nite Moves, Don also started The Legends with Glenn, and also was in The Sweathogs in the 70's from Los Angeles, California that had a hit single and toured the country. Not to mention that he is the business man of the band, and does lead vocals on several songs.
KIM BEAN - DRUMS & VOCALS : As drummer for Nite Moves, Kim keeps a rock solid beat for the music and does excellent fills that keep the songs flowing. Kim joined the band in 2004 and has solidified the low end. Not only doing excellent harmonies, Kim does lead vocals on several songs that brings a fresh voice with an excellent high end tone. Kim was a member of the band The Toys for many years and is an experienced drummer in many different styles of music.
RANDY COMBS - GUITAR & VOCALS : Joining the band in February 2008, Randy came in bringing a freshness to the band. His style is a mix of vintage Classic Rock mixed with Blues styling and Country also. Randy also does lead vocals on several songs. Randy's first band was Silver Creek in 1974 which also featured Charlie Crowe, guitarist with Brooks and Dunn. In 1996, Randy recorded in Nashville with the band Barricade. In 2002 through spring of 2003, he was in the band Flipside which toured nationally.
